If I were running for office I’d tell people: stop looking for enemies around every corner. Division is real and we all easily buy into it. There will be forces telling you who to hate. But even or worst enemies can be afforded civility on a human level. Form consensus with those who are willing.

Ballroom Republicans have finally jumped the shark. They are the party of “let them eat cake.” They are willing to spend political capital on building a ballroom not even on trying to win the midterms anymore by addressing all the economic indicators saying we’re not going in the right direction.
Let’s put Trump’s ballroom as a non-binding ballot referendum in all 50 states. I’d bet that people really don’t care about his little ballroom at all.
