In 2004 when we’d be out protesting the Iraq war, in NY there would be people who supported that war because they equated it with 9/11. These are the same people who probably voted for Trump in 2016 even though he was supposedly “against war.” Now they’ll cheerlead for war in Iran.

The term “affordability” is bandied about. It started under Biden and is now the albatross around Trump’s neck. But it’s more than prices. We need to hear stories about how this economy and the cost of things are affecting American’s lives. The pain of layoffs, unable to pay rent on time, etc.
