You got all these border patrol agents, ICE, DHS-HSI, DEA, FBI, secret service, even US Postal Service people with guns and you mean to tell me they are “failing” and you have to send in active duty troops? How sad is the Trump administration? The protestors have a right to protest.

I’d like to buy you a coffee and actually have a discussion with you. I promise no name calling this time. I’d honestly like to know of all the employees who walked past us with their eyes averted or with their heads down why you felt like you needed to respond to our protest. There’s something inside of you that likely wants to defend the work you’re doing at ICE.
I’d like to hear from you why racially profiling people is something you seem to be so proud of your agency doing. I want to hear why you approve of your “agents” stopping people based on their ethnicity, race or their accent is a good thing for America. You likely also feel that Jonathan Ross is not a murderer of Renee Good and I want to hear you say it. I want you to defend what your agents did to Keith Porter and Geraldo Lunas Campos.
It must be a difficult thing for a ton of federal government employees who are still there despite Trump’s mass purge to work in government despite having disagreements with the direction Trump is taking the country. Some of the ICE employees leaving work yesterday smiling and probably thinking about the MLK holiday weekend and the time off they’ll get to enjoy–despite ICE agents terrorizing America and destroying livelihoods and families–probably feel that way. A lot of them are people of color, sadly. I get it, they likely had jobs with ICE maybe even before Trump took office but YOU sir are proud of what you do at ICE.
So let’s hear it. Coffee’s on me.
